ABSA ACCREDITED ASSESSOR
Empire Thermal Group is proud to be an accredited assessor with the Australian Building Sustainability Association (ABSA). The role of an ABSA Accredited Assessor is to use the appropriate Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) approved rating software to determine a Star Rating. In doing so, the assessor will provide guidance with relation to building materials, window and other products as well as other specifications.

Town planning
BESS & SDA reports are energy assessments required for planning permit applications. Most Victorian city councils already work with BESS, which replaces both STEPS and SDS.

A Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) report calculates the ability of a development to treat rainwater collected from the additional hard surfaces to be introduced.
